"A day in the family" with the "role play" method

In June children were performing scenes about "A day in the family" with the "role play" method. Children were pretending to be parents and children and were performing scenes: Morning at home, Afternoon with mum and dad, Evening- preparing to sleep. All of the scenes were registered by video camera DVD.

Curricular songs

Children involved into the project were learning curricular songs. Children learned the songs contained in the English language curriculum in the kindergarten: "My home and my family", "One two three", "Let's fly" and "We're happy". All of the performances were filmed by coordinator of the project. Children presented the curricular songs, which they learned in April.

WORKING ON TURKEY DAY

Every teacher did a bit of research into Turkey (history, traditions, folk, monuments, art...) and organized an exhibition at school.

MEMORIES FROM TURKEY

After our second visit we made a presentation to have a possibility to share our memories from Turkey with our children and coworkers.

PRESENTATION "TURKISH DAYS"

Before our visit in Turkey we organised in our kindergarten "Turkish days". Children with help of their parents prepared a lot of materials and informations about Turkey, which they shared with their peers. We watched a presentation about Turkey, played Turkish games, degustated Turkish meals and coloured turkish flag.

COMPETITION WORKS "POLAND-MY MOTHERLAND"

Competition "Poland-my motherland", in which children were supposed to make out of recyclable materials famous bouildings, symbols etc. connected with Poland. We photographed the most interesting work and made a presentation.

National Sovereignty and Children’s Day in Turkey, observed every April 23, commemorates the Turkish Parliament’s creation and celebrates children’s role in the country’s development.
